LGBTQ+ supporters outnumbered anti-trans activist, Kellie-Jay Keen (KJK) aka ‘Posie Parker’, at a ‘Let Women Speak’ (LWS) rally in Worthing in November 2025.

Only 40 anti-trans activists turned up for the ‘Let Women Speak’ rally in Worthing town centre organised by Kellie-Jay Keen, aka Posie Parker, who is best known for her opposition to trans rights, anti LGBT views and anti Muslim sentiments. She has previously received support from neo-nazis and openly praised Donald Trump on X (formally Twitter).

In contrast, her small group was countered by over 160 local LGBT+ supporters including trade unions, women’s rights campaigners, trans rights groups and the local antifascist network as well as passers by who joined the counter protest after learning about the “terrible” nature of the event.
A view from the ground
On the day, it took a long while for KJK to arrive and there weren’t many of her supporters in attendance leading many to suggest that she might abandon the event all together. However, at 12:45, dressed in her signature red uniform, she eventually did appear via private chauffeur, and slowly made her way to the middle of the park, where the ‘rally’ took place, surrounded by a heavy police cordon which cut her off from the public.
She shook hands with some of the people in attendance as she moved towards the ‘stage’, enjoying almost celebrity status amongst the small crowd. We understand that many of these people are part of a wider anti trans network, not local to Worthing and already familiar to KJK. Previous work by TERF Watch Brighton has identified a secretive but dedicated network of gender critical activists in Sussex organising through groups like ‘Sisters Salon‘ and holding private meetings where “transphobic propaganda” films are shown.
At previous events organised by KJK, activists have had to be bussed in to make up the numbers and give the appearance of a larger audience. The wider anti trans network is also very secretive with little social media presence other than through a select few well known personalities and front organisations with smaller ‘networks‘ set up across Britain.
It was difficult to make out the content of the speeches due to then loud nature of the counter protest and the fact that the anti trans activists only had basic equipment. However, attendees suggested that themes included the banning of trans people from public spaces and painting trans people as a product of ‘internet grooming’, a long debunked transphobic narrative.
With little public support and a lack of attendees, the event finished over an hour before schedule at 14:00 making it one the shortest LWS events ever. KJK was then escorted back to her private chauffeur before speeding off, leaving her dwindling supporters stranded.

Kellie Jay Keen aka Posie Parker – a profile
KJK is primarily an internet personality who makes digital content via YouTube and X on a wide range of topics but primarily focussing on anti trans activism. She runs LWS events across Britain and abroad as publicity stunts where she attracts large counter protests from locals. On a recent tour to Australia and New Zealand, Keen had soup thrown in her face by a protestor after her supporters were seen making Nazi salutes outside of Victoria’s parliament.
Hope Not Hate, an organisation that investigate far right activity, describe Kellie Jay keen in more detail with their profiling which you can view here.
